sera Raffy I Nature is a colouring- and preservative-free treat made from natural and slightly dried gammarus (43.5%), shrimp (43.5%), small fish and krill, intended for aquatic turtles and other small (sometimes) carnivorous reptiles as well as amphibians.
The mixture, which corresponds to the variety of the natural diet, is rich in optimally usable proteins, omega fatty acids, valuable carotenoids, minerals and trace elements as well as dietary fibre, which regulate digestion.
As a complementary food supply, this delicious snack helps to maintain a good immune system, good development of the animal and its vitality.
Note regarding the change in the formula at the end of 2021: Gammarus pulex has always been the preferred natural food for carnivorous aquatic turtles. Traditionally, this is due to the high-quality nutrient profile as well as the wide availability of gammarus. Unfortunately, the effects of climate change are also being felt in this context. The warming of the original waters in 2021 had a negative impact on the volume of gammarus harvest. Since sustainable harvesting is important and is the only way to ensure a contribution to the sustainable preservation of the species, the company has decided to include shrimp in addition to gammarus in the sera Raffy I product formula. These replace 50% of the proportion of gammarus, even with an even better nutritional balance thanks to their higher protein content. At the same time, the gammarus always present in the product ensure that the animals receive a suitable supply of calcium, magnesium, trace elements and beta-carotene.
Natural reptile food
This product belongs to the "sera Nature" product line and contains no dyes or preservatives. The colours of the different types of food come from natural components. A varied diet with natural ingredients is the best protection against deficiencies and promotes the health and vitality of reptiles.
