Calcium is an essential element in the organism of birds. It is among other things necessary for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Calcium deficiency regularly leads to serious health problems in birds. If the bird does not receive sufficient calcium, its skeleton decalcifies and the bones deform. In the serin, a lack of calcium during the rearing period will lead to a poor formation of the shell and even to a difficult laying. During the period of rearing and growth, it is therefore strongly advisable to give calcium supplements to the birds. A sufficient calcium level will allow good shell formation and development of a healthy skeleton.

Instructions for use: As a preventive measure: 1 scald (= 4 g) twice a week for 100 g of egg dough or 250 ml of drinking water.
Before and during breeding: 2 shave (= 8 g) daily per 100 g of egg dough or 250 ml of drinking water.
In case of calcium deficiency: 3 shave (= 12 g) every day per 100 g of egg food Orlux or 250 ml of drinking water.
Advice: To properly dissolve Calci-Lux, it is better to prepare the product 10-15 min before use, stirring or stirring regularly during this waiting period.
