Feeding Instructions:
For many species, nuts make up a large part of their diet. Our high-quality nut varieties can be fed in addition to our Vital pellets and are suitable for all parrots and parakeets. Always store the nuts in a dark, cool place, in our resealable packaging. Fresh water and proper hygiene should always be guaranteed at the feeding point.
For some species, nuts are an important part of their diet.
The following types should therefore receive our nut mix every day in addition to the Vital Pellets:
African parrots: African grey parrots, Poicephalus species (Senegalese parrots, etc.)
Australian parrots: eclectus parrots, palm cockatoos, black cockatoos.
Parrots and parakeets of South America: Macaws, Pionites, Golden Parakeet,
Asian parrots and parakeets: ring-necked cockailer, Maluku cockatoo, Solomon's cockatoo, white-crested cockatoo, orange-crested cockatoo, yellow-crested cockatoo, spectacled cockatoo
Stream Storage:
We used resealable bags to keep our nuts fresh. You can also store the nuts in a food bucket with the lid closed. Protect them from direct sunlight, excessive heat (+18 degrees) and all kinds of pests.
