Oropharma Can-Tax is a red dye based on canthaxanthin. This dietary supplement gives color to your red canaries, intensifies the red color in other birds and ensures a very even red color. Since feathers are made of dead cells and are therefore not nourished via metabolism, they develop their color during their formation. The plumage is renewed on average once a year. This process does not happen all at once. The fall of the old feathers is stimulated by the formation of the new ones and this gradually, so that the bird always keeps a complete plumage. When Can-Tax is added to food, canthaxanthin is transported to the place where the feather grows and guarantees it an intense red color. Beta-apo-8'-carotenal allows an even better absorption of canthaxanthin. The formed feather keeps its color until the formation of a new feather.
Instructions for use: Jars of 20 g and 150 g: 1 level scoop (= 1 g) per 100 g of egg pie or per 200 ml of drinking water. 500 g jar: 1 level scoop (= 5 g) per 500 g of egg pie or per 1 liter of drinking water.
In the rearing period: 2 weeks before the laying of the first egg.
During molting: every day during the entire molting period. It is recommended to double the dose in the molting period.
