The sucker beetle (Tenebrio Molitor) is a beetle in the family Tenebrionidae.
The beetle itself is not very well known. Its larva (mealworms) is much more so. On the one hand, because it is an important source of food for birds and reptiles and on the other hand, because of its harmful nature when it is present in large numbers.
Animals in captivity are particularly fond of it. Only the larva is sold on a large scale as a feedstock. The beetle is really not suitable for this purpose, except for reptiles and amphibians.
To get beetles, it is enough to wait for the larvae to pupate and then turn into adult insects.
