The tenebrio Molitor is a beetle of the tenebrionid family.
The beetle itself is not very well known. Its larva (mealworms) is much more so. Dune part, because it is an important source of food for birds and reptiles and on the other hand, because of its harmfulness when it is present in large numbers.
Animals in captivity are particularly fond of it. Only the larva is sold on a large scale as a feeding animal. The beetle is really not suitable for this purpose, except for reptiles and amphibians.
To obtain beetles, it is enough to suggest that the larvae pupate and then turn into adult insects.
